  This green space has been part of the East Side since the 1960’s. Large trees shade the lawns and the open lawns beckon students, however, it had become an under-used amenity largely cut off from normal circulation surrounded by fence. CYLA created a plan to open the space to the Taylor street commercial corridor and introduce a new circulation through the park-like space to connect with the main quad pathways
