A lovely winter sunset reflected over the lake as pinks, mauves, and blues played outside the windows of the Cliff Dwellers Club, providing the backdrop for the Annual Meeting of the Frank Lloyd Wright Trust on February 16th. Carol Yetken delivered the program presentation to the record attendance audience, about methodology and adventures in landscape preservation. The Trust remarked, “You gave such a clear perspective on the landscape element of preservation. It was so illuminating!” Yetken with her firm, CYLA Design Associates Inc., has been involved in research, study, design, and reports related to the landscapes of nearly 20 Wright-designed projects throughout the central states, including the Unity Temple Restoration in Oak Park and the Robie House in Hyde Park (Chicago).
